Renee Volpe VanWie MS, PT, OCS Renee graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1982 and a Master of Science degree in Health Science Administration and Community Health from Towson State University in 1994. Renee is board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. Prior to opening Severna Park Physical Therapy in 1988, she had worked in various outpatient clinics and specialized in orthopedics, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, incontinence and vestibular rehabilitation. Besides her clinical work, she is a certified People with Arthritis Can Exercise instructor and a Fibromyalgia Self Help Class instructor. Renee is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association including its orthopedic and women’s health sections. She is married with three wonderful children.
Irvin Miller, PT Graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy in 1971. Since that time, he has worked in a variety of settings including acute care hospitals, private practice and home health, holding both clinical and supervisory positions. Irv has also been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, holding offices in both the state and national organizations, including two terms as President of the American Physical Therapy Association of Maryland. Aside from his clinical work, Irv has been an instructor in Clinical Electrophysiology at the University of Maryland, Shenandoah University and the George Washington University Department of Physical Therapy. Irv currently sees orthopedic and neurological patients and specializes in Clinical Electrophysiology, orthotics fabrication, and incontinence treatment. He is the proud father of two daughters and seven wonderful grandchildren.
